Project HeadStrong: Mental Health Matters
A Report from the Unstoppable 2024 Mission Trips
In 2024, we witnessed God’s power transform communities, institutions, and individuals as we pursued mental health healing, national reformation, and spiritual restoration through Project HeadStrong – Mental Health Matters. This movement is more than an initiative; it is a call to reshape lives, tackle societal issues, and bring lasting hope. Here’s how the journey unfolded:
A Year of Healing and Breakthroughs
YAF at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel
The year began with the biggest and final Young Adults Fellowship (YAF) session, held at Park Inn by Radisson Hotel. This gathering created a sacred space for attendees to express themselves without fear of judgment. Participants shared deep-seated struggles, found inner healing, and rediscovered hope.
“I felt heard and seen for the first time. It was a night of liberation,” said one attendee, encapsulating the transformative power of the gathering.
Transformed by Love Mission Trip: Iloilo
In April, we co-organized with RCK Ministries Transformed by Love Mission Trip in Iloilo. Here, lives were changed through a series of impactful events:
Mall Event at Festive Walk Mall People encountered emotional and spiritual refreshment, with attendees openly sharing their battles and receiving prayer and support.
“I felt God’s presence as I never have outside church,” shared Kym.
Outreach to Children in Brgy. Ilaya, Tabuc Suba, Jaro A day filled with joy and connection, as children experienced God’s love through stories, songs, and gifts.
Mental Health Session for Festive Walk Staff We conducted a session focused on workplace mental health, resonating deeply with the attendees.
“This is so timely. We need this session,” remarked JP of ILOMOCA.
A Night of Gugma: Mental Health Concert
We supported A Night of Gugma of Angelkym, a mental health concert by Ilonggo artists, where we were given 15 minutes to share about the healing power of love. Many attendees experienced God’s transformative presence during this time.
“I felt love and healing. I didn’t close my eyes because I knew I’d cry,” said Heart, one of the attendees.

Dignity Conference: Manila
At the Dignity Conference hosted by Eunice Bennett Ministries, we served as host and program director. The conference addressed the critical issues faced by OFWs, including human trafficking in the domestic hospitality industry. The conference emphasized the need for legislative reforms to protect vulnerable workers. After this, the Philippines news broke out with issues on human trafficking.
“This conference must reach every city and province,” urged Susan, highlighting its national significance.
Highway Prayer Mission: Nueva Ecija, Ilocos Norte, Benguet, and Baguio
Our team embarked on a series of highway prayer missions to address pressing national concerns.
Ilocos Norte Transformation
Our mission in Ilocos Norte became a testament to the power of prayer and prophetic declarations:
Prayer for National Boundaries
At the beach facing the West Philippine Sea, we prayed for God to revisit the boundaries set between nations. Soon after, news confirmed what was declared, as Filipinos placed boundary line floaters in the West Philippine Sea—a direct manifestation of the prayer uttered during our mission.
Prayer for Ilocos Norte and President Bongbong Marcos
We traveled to a specific location in Ilocos Norte to intercede for President Bongbong Marcos and the region. The prayers focused on economic development, leadership, and national reformation. Weeks later, significant developments occurred:
- Tourism Revamp: News confirmed that Ilocos Norte’s tourism industry would undergo a major overhaul, boosting regional income.
- Water Dam Budget Released: Funding for a vital water dam project in the province was approved, addressing longstanding concerns.
- Banning of POGOs A month after our mission, during the State of the Nation Address, President Bongbong Marcos declared the banning of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs).
Ministering to Locals Our mission concluded with intimate encounters, ministering to locals, including a teacher, a family, and policemen.
- The teacher received clarity on her purpose and a renewed sense of direction.
- Policemen were reminded of the reality of God in helping them fulfilled their mandate as security officers of the region.
- A father struggling with injustices found hope and assurance in God’s presence.
Messages of hope and the reality of God’s intervention were delivered with precision, leaving the community strengthened and encouraged.
This mission underscored the transformative impact of prayer on both local and national scales, highlighting how faith can drive change in leadership, infrastructure, and societal issues.

Benguet and Baguio Transformation In Atok, Benguet, a pivotal prayer mission unfolded:
Addressed human trafficking, abuses, and corruption at local government levels.
Prayed for justice in extrajudicial killings and corruption in the barangay and local government unit level.
Following this, significant events occurred:
- Quiboloy, Alice Guo, and Cassandra Ong were captured.
- Investigations into POGOs in Pampanga, Cebu, Bataan and other provinces led to their closure.
- Harry Roque was investigated and now a running fugitive.
- Extrajudicial killing related cases were reopened.
- Barangay-level investigations exposed illegal voter registrations nationwide.
In Baguio and Benguet:
- Ministered to a young woman battling suicidal thoughts, bringing hope and relief to her family.
- Prophecy to a teacher’s promotion, later came to pass.
- Host families and locals experienced healing and breakthroughs.
Nueva Ecija Mission: A Moment of Celebration and Dedication
The Nueva Ecija mission trip was marked by a profound sense of celebration and dedication. It became a powerful testimony of God's faithfulness as the prophecy concerning the newly elected barangay officials came to pass against all odds.
Despite significant challenges, the entire team experienced a landslide victory, a result that could only be attributed to divine intervention and the fulfillment of God’s promises. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as the newly elected officials dedicated their service to God, acknowledging His role in their triumph.
During the mission:
- Celebration of Victory - The victory was not just political; it was deeply spiritual. It reflected how prayer, faith, and integrity can lead to success even in the face of adversity. The landslide win was a prophetic fulfillment that strengthened the faith of everyone involved.
- Dedication Prayer - The officials gathered for a special dedication, committing their term and leadership to God's guidance. Prayers were offered for wisdom, protection, and discernment as they prepared to serve their communities with integrity and purpose.
- Community Empowerment - The mission also focused on empowering the community, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts and unity with God and in governance. It was a mission where hope was rekindled, and the vision for a better Barangay Puting Tubig, Gapan, Nueva Ecija was solidified.
This mission was a reminder of God’s ability to intervene in the affairs of the nation and raise leaders who will serve with justice and compassion. It set the tone for the rest of the year's missions, affirming that nothing is impossible with faith and dedication to His purpose.
Cavite: Human Trafficking and POGO Breakthroughs
The Cavite highway prayer mission targeted human trafficking and POGOs. Within 24 hours, news broke of thousands of illegal immigrants being repatriated and intercepted trafficking activities. Also, this mission trip was needed because I got an insight that POGOs will go underground after the banning. This insight was confirmed by the news from the senate hearing. The mission trip was like an SOS that sent out a message spiritually to the Philippines government about the next step of POGO operators. This was also followed by the capture of the POGO Godfather that flooded the newsAn extraordinary encounter followed: I met a woman at the airport who had escaped her traffickers just hours before. Her story was a testament to God’s orchestration and protection.
Global Impact: Hong Kong Mission Trip
Our partnership with RCK Ministries led to a mission trip to Hong Kong.
Ministered to Jesus is the King of Glory Global Ministries, providing healing and encouragement.
Supported OFWs on the streets, listening to their stories and offering prayer, encouragement and love hugs.
For Coach Nile International, this trip was foundational for planning future highway prayer missions to address regional and global issues.
